Vinyl or Fiberglass? Milgard Does Both Well

Milgard's vinyl lines — Trinsic with its narrow modern frames, Tuscany with fuller profiles and premium hardware — are where most budgets land, and they perform honestly: low maintenance, good thermal numbers, and a price that lets you do the whole house instead of half of it. Vinyl's limits are aesthetic more than functional: fewer dark colors, chunkier frames than metal or fiberglass.

The Ultra fiberglass series answers those limits: slimmer frames, deeper colors including true black, and a stiffer material that handles big openings and temperature swings with less movement. It costs meaningfully more per unit. On mixed projects we often spec fiberglass for the street-facing feature windows and vinyl everywhere else — your bid can show both ways.
